THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS.Location: Pune (Hybrid) – (Once a week in office)Shift: General (IST Hours)Experience: 9+ years overall experienceWe are seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester IV to join our client’s team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications.Primary Skills- Web application testing (manual functional and regression testing)- API and REST API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno- UI automation basics using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and reportingSecondary Skills- Performance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter- Exposure to mobile application testing- Familiarity with AI-based testing tools or frameworksQualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience- 9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience- Proven experience in manual testing of web and API-based applications- Familiarity with API automation using RestAssured (Java) is a plus- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills- Strong collaboration skills in Agile development environmentsResponsibilities- Perform manual testing of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality.- Conduct manual API testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services.- Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases.- Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution.- Utilize Postman/Bruno for API testing and validation.- Provide regular testing progress updates and communicate critical issues effectively.- Assist in UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).- Support API automation initiatives using RestAssured (Java).Ideal Candidate- A detail-oriented professional with a passion for delivering high-quality software.- Strong understanding of QA best practices and defect management workflows.- A collaborative communicator who thrives in a hybrid, cross-functional global team.- Self-motivated, adaptable, and continuously learning new testing tools and frameworks.Our large, Fortune client is ranked among the best companies to work for globally.
