Job Title: Operations Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings with shipping lines, NVOCCs, airlines, and IATA agents

  • Coordinate with customers to obtain shipping instructions and loading details

  • Submit shipping instructions to shipping lines and obtain Master Bill of Lading (MBL) drafts

  • Send MBLs to agents for approval and provide shipment status updates to exporters, consignees, and insurers

  • Track shipments until container loading and follow up with shipping lines on BL issues and invoicing

  • Ensure smooth BL release and send pre-alerts to agents and customers

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • High-quality written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment

  • Accurate with high-quality work output, even under pressure

  • Team player with openness to others' views

Educational Qualifications:

  • Graduation in any stream

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance (air and sea)

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience in handling shipping instructions and MBL drafts

  • Fluency in English, both written and oral, is mandatory

Preferred Location:

  • Candidates residing in the Metro line area are preferred
