Thanks to our incredible team, Deltek has been named one of America's Best Midsize Employers by Forbes, a Best Place to Work by Glassdoor, a Top Workplace by The Washington Post, and a Best Place to Work in Asia by the World HRD Congress.Please check for more information.Position ResponsibilitiesRoles & Responsibilities:Cloud Solution Architecture Design and Development (50%)Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability, performance) across multiple public cloud platforms.Collaboration with customer and sales teams for ideation, design, and testing of technical solutions for migration of products to the cloud based on the SaaS model.Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture including product deployment.Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the product portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation.Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for public cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services.Ensure excellence in Service delivery to improve customer satisfaction and minimize downtime.Specifies the components and their interactions that comprise the End-to-End Integrated Architecture including working with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define a high-level solution.Consultation (20%)

Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment.Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform technical and functional/non-functional requirements.Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solutions or escalation to service owners.Ensure delivered solutions are realized in the time frame committed; work in conjunction with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk.Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations.Thought Leadership (20%)

Provide thought leadership in the industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements.Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts.Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems.Mentoring (10%)

Provide project team members with a clear vision and purpose for a project and create a positive tone and morale for the team. Motivate team members and build project team identity and cohesion. Effectively manage cross-discipline coordination and communication.Lead the definition and development of cloud reference architecture and management systems.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.12+ years of overall experience in technical leadership, application development, integration, Software Engineering, Cloud Solution Architecture, or similar experiences.Extensive experience in technical architecture, middleware, and database management systems (MSSQL or Oracle).Considerable experience with AWS & AZURE architecture and implementation features and their tradeoffs.Experience working with ERP solutions is preferred.Experienced in guiding partners and/or customers through the adoption life cycle with hands-on guidance, reference architectures, and depth engagementExperience architecting scalable, distributed public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processesCustomer obsession coupled with strong problem-solving skillsPrior experiences as a Cloud Solution Architect or Software Architect or other similar experienceExperience with migrating legacy systems to the cloud.Ability to think creatively, and to inspire and motivate others to do so as wellExcellent communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skillsProfound understanding of microservices communication patterns, service discovery mechanisms, and decentralized data management practices.Experienced in implementing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrating them using Kubernetes to manage microservices deployments efficiently.Deep involvement with a wide range of open-source technologies, contributing to and utilizing tools and frameworks that accelerate development and enhance operational efficiency.Skilled in leveraging open-source platforms such as Linux, Apache, and MySQL for building robust software solutions.Travel RequirementsNoApplicant Privacy NoticeDeltek is committed to the protection and promotion of your privacy.
