What You'll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of Software Engineers to deliver product featuresInspire and motivate team members to achieve maximum productivity and creativityEstablish and drive product release plans that satisfy requirements and prioritiesProvide ongoing communication of the release plan to the product teamAssess the cost, benefits and risks of each development project, factoring in required architecture/engineering effort to build common componentsApply agile principles for the timely incremental deliveriesMonitor team productivity, dynamics and overall performanceAnticipate, identify and resolve technical issuesSupport team members in their pursuit of career development paths and opportunitiesChampion the team's accomplishments with upper management and adjacent teamsProvide both high level and low-level technical guidance on tasks as appropriate
Expertise You'll Bring:
Proven experience of building and managing high performance software development teamsPrevious application design/architecture experienceHands on development experience in Java Object Oriented technologiesExperience of developing full-stack web applicationsAdditional experience with AWS, Kafka and JavaScript frameworks would beneficial
