JOB PROFILE

KEY RESULT AREAS:

- Completion of audits as per the audit plan

- Conducting control self-assessments and effective completion of the same and ensuring remediation of control gaps identified during control self-assessments

- Effectiveness testing of automated / manual internal controls and ensuring remediation of control gaps identified during testing

- Continual learning and enhancement

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Planning and executing internal audits as per annual audit plan.

- Documenting, reporting, tracking and following-up for all the audits executed in the audit reporting system for records and further action.

- Reviewing and improving policies, processes, and internal controls by having insight into various business processes of the organization

- Ensuring that control self-assessments (CSA) are completed as per the schedule.

- Periodic review and updating of risk control matrices (RCMs)

- Effectiveness testing of internal controls (Automated and Manual), review control testing results with the process owners and discuss viable solutions to close gaps.

- Preparation of various MIS (as required)

- Ensuring compliance to various statutes applicable, accounting standards and company procedures and policies laid down.

- Providing inputs for improvements in internal control systems, processes, avenues for cost savings and profit maximization

- Keeping oneself abreast about the developments in the field of Internal audits and controls by attending seminars / training programs to improve the skillsets and continuously enhance knowledge through extensive reading.

REQUISITE QUALIFICATION:

Chartered Accountant

REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE:

2 years of post-qualification experience preferably in Internal audit and Internal financial controls

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Knowledge of various business processes

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to network and collaborate with cross - functional teams.

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Knowledge of ERP based accounting system

- Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and ability to work and interpret figures and other financial information.
