We're seeking a highly experienced Project Manager (PM) with a passion for automation testing to join our growing team.
You'll play a pivotal role in leading and managing the development and execution of comprehensive automation testing strategies, ensuring the quality and efficiency of our software releases.
Responsibilities :
- Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement a robust automation testing strategy aligned with overall project objectives.
- Project Management Expertise: Plan, execute, and deliver automation testing projects on time, within budget, and to meet quality standards.
- Resource Management : Effectively manage a team of automation testers, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and providing ongoing coaching and mentorship.
- Test Automation Champion : Stay up-to-date on the latest automation testing tools and frameworks, and advocate for their effective implementation within the team.
- Requirements Management : Clearly understand and translate project requirements into comprehensive test plans and automation test cases.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks associated with automation testing efforts.
- Communication & Collaboration : Effectively communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders across various levels (development, QA, product).
- Metrics & Reporting : Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation testing initiatives.
- Generate reports to provide insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement : Constantly evaluate and improve the automation testing process to enhance efficiency and maximize value delivery.
Qualifications :
Extensive Experience : 13+ years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on automation testing methodologies.
Proven Track Record : A demonstrably successful record of leading and delivering complex automation testing projects on time and within budget.
Automation Expertise : In-depth knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java).
Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and their application to automation testing projects.
Communication & Collaboration Skills : Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
Analytical & Problem-solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to automation testing processes and tools.
Leadership Qualities : Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of automation testers.
Business Acumen : A basic understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable testing strategies
