Role & responsibilities

  • Lead long-term planning initiatives to improve supply chain operations and reduce costs.
  • Oversee the procurement process for Direct material, including sourcing, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials.
  • Optimize inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimizing carrying costs . Manage Slow, Non-Moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Implement best practices to ensure efficient storage and distribution.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement of Raw Material, logistics, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Experience in working in a matrixed organization and experience in dealing with overseas business partners will be big advantage.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems.

Education : Degree / Diploma Engineer, A masters degree in management (MBA) or relevant Certification is preferred.

Experience  Minimum 15 years experience in automotive industry in supply chain domain
