Job Summary :
Requirement of an Area Sales Manager with anentrepreneurial mindset in order to
dynamically manageand grow the existing distribution channels of medicaltapes
and surgical disposables in OTC surgical privateand public hospitals. Precision
Coatings Pvt Ltds 5 yearplan involves achieving 25% year on year growth and
setting up a field sales team to develop MEDIGRIPs brand presencein the Indian
subcontinent.
Detailed JobDescription
Marketing Strategy
of Selectionand appointment of suitable distribution agencies forkey
markets in the assigned states for all eachdistribution channel OTC
surgical products private andpublic hospital products and corporate
institution salesFMCG products.
o Strategy and implementation forachieving growth objectives for domestic
business inconsultation with GM Sales.
o Conducting sales reviewmeetings and presenting strategic insights along
withplan of action with management on a quarterly basis
oCollection of key market intel (pricing competitor activity overallmarket
trends etc.) for all areas and products on aperiodic basis and advising top
management for periodicpricing corrections or changes in approach.
Expected tohave a strong grip on the market pulse
o Suggestions fornew products promotional activities etc. to management
oSetting up of Private Institutional sales/Hospital sales divisionincluding
hiring and training staff and also gettingMedigrip approved in private
institutions to initiatebusiness Management of Sales Team &Activities
o Setting up and managing field sales team toeffectively manage
distribution systems in the assignedareas. Includes expense management
trip reportspromotional activities tour plans lead management etc.
oMentor field sales staff and contribute to their growth in the firmensure
stickiness of staff
o Regularly visitkey customers through the assigned area to maintain
business relationship collect feedback and form newcustomers
o Monthly review of sales figures with salesteam and appropriate corrective
actions to achievegrowth objectives
o Hiring activities for territorymanagers in the assigned areas.
o Redesigning incentivestructure for sales team to suitably motivate sales
teamto achieve overall growth objectives in consultationwith
management
o Design and implementationof timely promotional activities
of Timelyidentification and participation in key government tendersin
coordination with sales administration andmanagement
