Job Summary:


The Senior Technical Manager – Lubricant Additive Packages will spearhead the development, formulation, and testing of lubricant additives, ensuring they fit various applications. You will work closely with R&D, sales, and production teams to offer technical insights in product development and customer solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the formulation and development of innovative lubricant additive packages for various applications such as engine oils, industrial lubricants, and greases.
  2. Collaborate with R&D teams to design, test, and improve additive performance and functionality.
  3. Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams, assisting in customer engagement and troubleshooting.
  4. Manage product testing, including tribological assessments, oxidation stability, and viscosity performance.
  5. Maintain awareness of market trends, regulatory standards, and environmental requirements impacting lubricant additives.
  6. Evaluate and implement new raw materials and technologies in additive formulations.
  7. Represent the company at industry conferences and participate in technical forums.
  8. Provide training and mentoring to junior technical staff and colleagues.
  9. Ensure that all product developments meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the lubricant additive industry, with a focus on additive formulation and application.
  • Strong understanding of tribology, additive chemistry, and lubricant performance requirements.
  • Proven track record of successful product development in engine oils, industrial lubricants, and/or greases.
  • Hands-on experience with formulation testing, including ASTM, SAE, and OEM specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
  • Strong data analysis and market research background, able to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
