Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Category Lead to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned consumer electronics categories.- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.- Manage product lifecycles, including product selection, sourcing, pricing, and promotion.- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.- Oversee inventory management and forecasting to optimize stock levels and minimize stockouts.- Analyze sales data and identify areas for improvement in product assortment, pricing, and promotions.- Develop and manage product content for the D2C website and marketing materials.- Support the launch of new products, including developing marketing campaigns and managing pre-order processes.- Monitor and analyze website traffic and conversion rates to optimize the customer experience.- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability within the category.- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless product launch and ongoing success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).- 2-4 years of experience in a category management role, preferably within the D2C or consumer electronics industry.- Strong understanding of consumer electronics market trends and product lifecycles.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience with market research and competitor analysis.- Proven ability to develop and manage strategic plans.- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).- Experience with eCommerce platform management (e.g., Shopify) a plus.- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics) a plus.
