Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, reconciling bank statements, and supporting day-to-day accounting activities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy of financial data
  • Prepare and post journal entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
  • Help prepare tax filings and financial audits
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and other departments as needed
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (internships count)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8, ₹15,000.00 per month
