Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in West Bengal, India. The Junior Accountant will handle daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable. They will assist with month-end and year-end close processes, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports for management. Daily tasks will also include managing invoices, expense reports, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Previous experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role is a plus

Salary

15-20K, depending upon experience & interview
