Purpose of the Job:

The ServiceNow Technical Consultant is responsible for the overall architecture, design, implementation and integrity of the ServiceNow application within our organization.

- Supports demand management in the ideation phase and early stages of the IM projects.- Provides solutions that are compatible with the existing (technical and functional) architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, guidelines, budget and operational supportability.- Ensures quality and consistency with functional template design for deployments.- Monitors the market to gain knowledge and understanding of currently emerging technologies in own area of expertise.- Build and maintain strong relationship with SIM/process owners & business.- Lead and/or participate in projects covering the ServiceNow domain.

About the job (Job Responsibilities)

- 10+ years of experience in experience on ServiceNow development and configurations.- 5+ years of experience as ServiceNow Architect or Lead in a complex architecture- 5+ years of experience in integration (APIs, JDBC, and file-based parsers.) and Service Portal is MUST to have for this role.- Validated understanding of ServiceNow, proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and libraries/frameworks such as AngularJS and Bootstrap.- Experience in designing ServiceNow architecture, data modelling and writing technical specification- Ability to drive best practices across ServiceNow development and configuration- Experience in ITSM, HRSD, ITBM, Custom applications is required.- Resolves technical escalations, including responding to defects.- Define, guides and support the execution of your technical governance processes.- Train the team and team members with technical guidance- Helps develop standards and practices for maintaining the ServiceNow architecture model- Supports design and implementation of a platform operating model to achieve your desired outcomes and foster end-user adoption- Provides technical evaluation of demands against ServiceNow platform architecture, platform capabilities, and best practices- Supports remediation of configurations not aligned to ServiceNow best practices- Assesses instance health (performance, manageability, usability, scalability, upgradability, and security) by conducting ServiceNow Health Scan- Oversee platform operations like instance cloning and version upgrade.- Will be the first point of contact for any new solution design, 3rd Line support and technical guidance for the team.
