Keep the team updated with service letters and the change in interval of the job.
Ensure all group technical guidelines in-terms of PMS are monitored.
Discuss the insight performance on voyage and other modules in ship sure by the ship staff.
Obtain monthly update on PMS data build and follow up on billing.

• Ensure that Maintenance procedures are established and followed
• Ensure that each vessel has a suitable PMS system
• Be the Company’s Main Responsible for follow up of the overall maintenance strategy and the PMS system per vessel
• Ensure that a Maintenance Engineer is allocated to each vessel
• Aim to limit numbers of PMS systems in use in the Company
• Ensure that PMS system is selected, arranged, maintained and regularly updated for each vessel.
• Ensure that database for the PMS system for each vessel has a correct structure.
• Ensure that method for establishing or converting databases for PMS system for new vessels entering technical management is adequately planned and implemented.
• Ensure PMS procedures are established for the various vessel types with correct structure, hierarchy, access, departments, technical accounts, fiscal accounts, standard work descriptions, method for changes, daily operation and use of the PMS system
• Ensure that method for and extent of training of onshore and onboard users are defined.
• Be the Company’s main contact with supplier of PMS systems for operational matters
• Be the Company’s Main Responsible person for following up the overall maintenance strategy and the various PMS systems onboard Vessels
• Provide input related to PMS system for new business tenders
• Allocate PMS Engineer/PMS Superintendent for each vessel and follow-up their work
• Assist the Vessel Managers with PMS system related matters for their vessels.
• Coordinate PMS system related matters with, IT Manager, Purchasing Manager and their departments
• Provide operational Input to the IT Department for preferred PMS system for vessels managed by the company in order to limit type of PMS systems
• Reports to PMS superintendent and work on additional jobs as required by the team

• Have worked in a supervisory position in a ship owner/management company, performing similar tasks.
• Have good knowledge of rules, regulations regarding maintenance matters and various expectations for PMS systems by the Customer, Flag State, Class, Authorities etc.
• Have good knowledge of new development in PMS, Condition Based Maintenance systems and industry standards.
