Role & responsibilities

(1) Legal and ROC Compliances:

Assist in ensuring the company's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliance requirements.

(2) Drafting and Vetting:

Draft, review, and vet various types of agreements and legal documents in accordance with company standards and applicable laws.

(3) Document Execution Support:

Provide assistance in the execution of legal documents including Agreement to Sale (ATS), Sale Deed, Lease Deed, and other related instruments at the Registrar's Office.

(4) MIS Management:

Maintain and regularly update the Management Information System (MIS) for legal cases, ensuring accurate record-keeping and tracking.

(5) Litigation Support:

Assist in preparing and compiling documentation required for legal cases involving the company.

Coordinate with internal teams and external advocates to manage ongoing litigation.

(6) Record Maintenance:

Perform book-keeping and maintain accurate records relating to matters handled with Government offices and statutory authorities.

(7) Advocate Coordination:

Provide timely support and documentation to legal counsel/advocates for effective legal representation.

(8) Ad Hoc Duties:

Carry out any other legal or compliance-related tasks as assigned by the company from time to time.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in legal compliance, documentation, or corporate law preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills are essential.
