We are looking for you to demonstrate:

  • Solid experience in designing and Architect Java applications.
  • Extensive experience producing technical design (component design, data design, integration design).
  • Experience designing services and APIs.
  • Experience in application security, access management and SSO.
  • Experience in multi-threaded environment and/or distributed systems.
  • Strong experience and proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, Messaging & Caching.
  • Understanding real-time software characteristics including inter-process communication, message passing, locks, priorities and threads.
  • Excellent knowledge of databases technologies both RDBMS and No-SQL.
  • Hands on experience of having architected at least 1 major enterprise product end to end.
  • Hands on in coding (a must) - Experience is front end technologies like AngularJS etc. is a plus.
  • We are coming up with SaaS model for our flagship Endpoint Security product.
  • This will be a cloud based, multi-tenant applications.
  • This demands a strong expertise in designing enterprise level cloud based applications.

Experience in application security, access management and SSO are the key aspects of SaaS application


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Prepare high-level design specifications considering feasibility and system integration.
  • Define development strategy from technology selection and workflow to design and coding standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to engineers.
  • Closely work with development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
  • Approve product releases.
