We are seeking a skilled Tech Lead to lead our engineering and development teams in designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that align with our business needs and exceed customer expectations. As the Tech Lead ,you will provide technical leadership and guidance to our team of engineers, mentor and develop team members on cloud architecture and best practices, and collaborate with other teams to ensure successful deployment and maintenance of our cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring teams in a technical environment, a proven ability to coach and develop team members, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. Team management and mentorship abilities are critical to the success of this role and the organization overall.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructures that are cost-effective, secure, scalable, and highly available.
  • Develop and implement cloud strategies, architectures, and roadmaps that align with the business objectives and IT goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud projects, define requirements, and manage timelines and budgets.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and services that can enhance our infrastructure, reduce costs, and improve performance.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to our teams on cloud & code best practices, standards, and compliance.
  • Ensure the security and compliance of our cloud environments, including data protection, identity and access management, and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and cost efficiency of our cloud infrastructures.
  • Document and communicate cloud architectures, designs, and solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, design, and implementation, preferably in a large-scale environment.
  • Strong knowledge & hands-on experience working with AWS offerings & their use cases, best practices for usage, possible architectural scenarios with an offering
  • Experience designing and building web environments on AWS, which includes working with services like Lambda, ECS, EKS EC2, ALB, ELB, RDS, S3, Route53, KMS, VPC and cloud-native applications
  • Familiarity & Experience with AWS Well Architected Framework
  • Experience with designing & building Modern App Architectures (Serverless, Event-driven patterns)
  • Package Repositories (npm, Artifactory, AWS ECR, DockerHub)
  • Automation (Ansible, Linux bash etc.)
  • Containerization (Docker, GCP Cloud Run) and Orchestration (Kubernetes, Helm Charts)
  • Version Control (GitHub)
  • CI/CD (GitHub Action, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild etc.)
  • Observability & Monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Grafana, Prometheus etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Computer Networks & a sufficient expertise of the Internet Protocols (TCP/IP)
  • Proven experience in designing and deploying cloud infrastructures that are secure(security first), scalable, and highly available.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • AWS certifications or equivalent experience.
  • Comfortable working with Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaaC) tools like Terraform or AWS Cloudformation
  • Bonus points if you are able to manage resources using AWS Component Development Kit (NodeJS or Python)
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring teams in a technical environment
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.
