Job Description

The desired candidate will be a vital part of the Global IT team with a proven track record of designing, troubleshooting, and problem-solving to address challenges and opportunities within the domain. The candidate will be responsible for working with business and IT leads. S/he is expected to understand the cross-business requirements that form a product or solution. Will be expected to participate in scrubs of items that form the product and feature pipeline.A person who is passionate about improving business processes, and helping our business partners envision the future & how we enable it. This person will be responsible for selection of appropriate testing automation tools and methodologies that best fits each use case. The candidate will support the overall QA workstream consisting of both manual and automated testing.The Salesforce Developer will perform hands-on technical implementation, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the Salesforce.com platform. They will take a lead role in the solution design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of projects/enhancements that leverage the Salesforce.com application.Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:Strong understanding of Salesforce Declarative, Programming, and Administration (develop code, Custom objects, Apex, Triggers, Reports, workflows, and assignment rules)

Deep understanding of Salesforce APEX, SQL/SOQL, XML/JSON, Visualforce, LWC, Javascript, SOAP, and REST techniques

Develop software solutions using Salesforce.com API framework, and 3rd party APIs

Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform using Apex programming language, Lightning Web Components

Perform unit testing and defect fixes

Liaise with internal clients and users to understand their business needs in developing solutions through Salesforce

Ad hoc analysis, assignments, and projects as needed

Collaborate effectively with both business and IT partners across all functions through prioritization cadences to meet commitments. Work through issues and challenges to complete tasks on time.

Behavioral Characteristics/Skills:Foundational understanding of SQL and databases

Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, Autorabbit, Bitbucket)

Self-starter with great analytical skills, attention to detail, proactive, a sense of ownership, urgency, and a passion for continuous learning

Passionate about customer satisfaction and learning about the business

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to communicate to a wide variety of audiences, both business and technical at functional and executive levels

Detailed oriented to deliver on defined business goals and takes pride in delivering clean/tested code on time and in scope

Must enjoy having fun while delivering meaningful value/solutions with MSI

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent industry experience required. Master’s degree desired.

Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud and Service Cloud

Salesforce Certified Developer or Salesforce Certified Architect required (Application/System); Platform Developer II certification preferred

Thorough knowledge and understanding of Salesforce and/or other CRM solutions, SDLC, and Agile best practices, techniques, and technologies.

Must be able to communicate and present effectively to stakeholders with different backgrounds and objectives – across executive, business stakeholder levels, and technical teams.

Able to work effectively in a consultative role with other Technology Managers and IT Executive Leadership.
