About This Job Posting

We are seeking a motivated and talented Avionics Simulation Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aircraft controls, physics simulation, and modeling, working alongside experienced engineers on exciting projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Model Development: Assist in developing and maintaining models of aircraft dynamics, including aerodynamics, propulsion, structural dynamics, and control systems.

· Simulation Setup: Configure and run simulations using industry-standard tools like MATLAB/Simulink and others.

· Data Analysis: Analyze simulation results to identify trends, anomalies, and potential design improvements.

· Test Case Development: Develop and execute test cases to validate simulation models and control system performance.

· Control System Design and Analysis: Contribute to the design and analysis of control systems, including autopilots, autothrottles, and flight management systems.

· Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers, control systems engineers, and flight test engineers to understand project requirements and contribute to the team's goals.


Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· 2+ years of experience in simulation and modelling, preferably in the aerospace industry.

· Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.

· Basic understanding of aircraft dynamics, control systems, and flight mechanics.

· Knowledge of programming languages like Python or C++.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Good communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
