Senior Android Engineer – Hyderabad (Full-Time, Onsite/Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Android Engineer
with a strong background in building scalable, high-performance mobile applications. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge products, collaborate with global teams, and mentor junior developers while shaping innovative mobile solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy native Android applications.
  • Build modern apps using
    Kotlin, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Navigation Components, LiveData, and ViewModel
    .
  • Architect and optimize Android apps for
    performance, scalability, and reliability
    .
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend, and web developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
  • Integrate apps with
    RESTful & GraphQL APIs
    and work with tools like Retrofit, OkHttp, and Apollo.
  • Implement dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and manage concurrency with Coroutines/Flow.
  • Ensure code quality through
    unit testing (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
    and participate in code reviews.
  • Drive
    CI/CD best practices, automation, and testing frameworks (Selenium/Playwright)
    .
  • Deploy and manage apps via
    Google Play Console
    , including release management and monitoring.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years
    of Android development experience.
  • Proven expertise in
    Kotlin
    and Android app architecture (MVVM).
  • Experience in
    Android Jetpack, Firebase, Google Play Services, Analytics integration
    .
  • Strong understanding of RESTful services, GraphQL, Room/SQLite databases.
  • Hands-on experience with
    Docker, Git, Gradle
    , and Android Studio.
  • Familiarity with QA automation, CI/CD pipelines, and Gitflow methodology.
  • Solid knowledge of mobile app design principles and best practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written).
  • Ability to mentor, collaborate, and work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BE/ME/MCA/MSc-IT/BCA).
