We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Android Engineer
with proven expertise in developing
scalable, high-performance, and secure mobile applications
. This role offers the chance to
work on innovative global products, lead technical initiatives, and mentor teams
, while driving best practices in modern Android development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy
    advanced native Android applications.
  • Build modern apps using
    Kotlin, MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Navigation Components, LiveData, and ViewModel
    .
  • Architect, optimize, and scale apps for
    performance, reliability, and maintainability
    .
  • Collaborate with
    product managers, designers, backend engineers, and web teams
    to deliver seamless cross-platform experiences.
  • Integrate apps with
    RESTful APIs and GraphQL
    using
    Retrofit, OkHttp, and Apollo
    .
  • Implement
    dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
    and manage
    asynchronous operations with Coroutines and Flow
    .
  • Ensure high code quality with
    unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito)
    and conduct
    peer code reviews
    .
  • Drive
    CI/CD automation and testing
    using tools like
    Selenium, Playwright, Git, and Docker
    .
  • Manage
    release cycles and deployment
    via
    Google Play Console
    , ensuring robust monitoring and version management.
  • Maintain and integrate services like
    Firebase, Google Play Services, and Analytics
    .
  • Work with
    Room/SQLite databases
    and ensure secure data handling.
  • Lead by example:
    mentor junior engineers
    , encourage innovation, and promote a
    collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture
    .

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8+ years
    of professional Android development experience.
  • Advanced expertise in
    Kotlin
    and
    Android application architecture (MVVM)
    .
  • Strong proficiency in
    Android Jetpack libraries, Jetpack Compose, and modern UI/UX principles
    .
  • Solid knowledge of
    RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Room/SQLite
    , and
    offline-first architectures
    .
  • Experience with
    Firebase, Google Play Services, and Analytics tools
    .
  • Hands-on with
    CI/CD pipelines, Gitflow methodology, QA automation
    , and tools like
    Docker, Gradle, and Android Studio
    .
  • Proven ability to
    implement dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger)
    , manage
    concurrency with Coroutines/Flow
    , and optimize
    app performance at scale
    .
  • Familiarity with
    Selenium, Playwright, and automated testing frameworks
    .
  • Clear understanding of
    mobile app design guidelines, performance optimization, and secure coding best practices
    .
