As an

HR and Operations Specialist

with the Blue Matter Team, you will work collaboratively with leadership and multiple global stakeholders to ensure data management, payroll administration, benefits administration, HR policy development, compliance, employee onboarding, employee engagement and HR system management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the

recruitment process

including sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting and scheduling interviews and facilitating the hiring processEnsure data accuracy, compliance and effective

administration of payroll and benefitsConduct regular

audits

and assessment to identify areas of non-compliance, mitigate risks and implement corrective actionsMaintain accurate records within the

internal HR systems and databasesOversee the complete

onboarding process

for new hires and

offboarding process

for leaversImplement company policies that help foster

employee engagement and retentionSupport with

budget planning

and track actual expensesCo-manage

vendors

(HR, events, accounting, IT) hired by the teamAnswer inquiries and support the team members with requests

Required Experience and Skills:

Minimum 5 years of experience in HR capacity

(Big 5 Consulting firm experience is a plus)Experience working with a consulting firm is a plusExperience in administering HR operations using automated tools (e.g. HRIS)Results-driven and numbers-orientedLogical and analytical thinkingExceptional presence and communication skillsFlexibility, adaptability and a can-do attitudeStrong organizational and task prioritization skills

Preferred Qualifications:Masters degree in Human Resources Management, or similar field

(MBA in HR is strongly preferred)

Additional considerations:Role will be based out of the

Mumbai

and

presence in or relocation to Mumbai is a non-negotiable prerequisiteWe are in flex-commute mode and work from office twice a week (though an uncommon additional day may be required for business reasons)This role will provide an opportunity to support a blue chip consulting team and be involved in a multi-continent Operations and HR group
