About the role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have strong backend development experience using Python , Django , and FastAPI , and will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. What you'll be doing Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python , Django , and FastAPI . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features. Optimize application performance and scalability. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the stack. Mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth. Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks like Django and FastAPI . Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. Solid understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have: Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes . Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
