Logistics Engineer for Paper Business Line (based in Pune, India).

Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer’s performance forward?

We are looking for “Logistics Engineer” to be based in Pune, India. This position reports to “Senior Manager, PAP India Supply Management”. In this position you will have an opportunity to secure delivery of equipment at Global and Local sites for both imports and exports, according to the Customs rules and regulations of respective countries.

In this position, you will be required to:

Understand and plan logistics of goods from supplier partner works to global locations, with most effective logistics planning Support to Supply planning process with input on Shipping lead times, costs and limitations; to enable a development of a total Cost-efficient and in-time delivery supply plan. Networking with Global logistic teams & Logistic service providers. Knowledge upgradation for changes in Local taxations, foreign trade policies, etc. Liaising with the government officials for statutory requirements, such as advance authorization, export incentives, etc. Raise and book invoices in the ERP. Selection and working with local logistics partners (or local offices of global partners) for request for quotes, preparing orders, and building contracts/ price lists. Prepare most cost-effective and safe logistics solution, which supports also the company’s goals towards reduction of Co2 emissions. Estimate logistics expenses. Understand and be able to handle insurance and claims. Prepare and maintain documentation related to invoicing, inland transportation, exports, imports, customs, self-sealing permissions, etc. Arrange booking, stuffing, lashing and dispatch of containers for exports/ imports with customs’ clearances.

To succeed this role, you will need:

Bachelor/ Master’s Degree 5 years of minimum experience in relevant field Hands on experience of MS Office Global logistics experience on exports and imports Thorough “Must have” knowledge of legal and tax requirements pertaining to local logistics, GST, exports, cross-trade shipping, incoterms, product HS codes, etc. Excellent negotiation and influencing skills Good communication and presentation skills Willing to travel
