About the Role:

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Leader who can drive both modernization of enterprise applications and lead AI/ML initiatives for global clients. This role combines strong coding skills (Angular + Spring Boot), delivery ownership, and solutioning with AI/ML for business transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Modernization:

  • Lead migration of legacy applications into cloud-ready, scalable, and API-driven platforms.
  • Stay hands-on with Angular (latest) and Spring Boot (Java) to design and deliver enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Ensure technical excellence with code reviews, best practices, and secure design principles.

AI/ML Solutioning & Delivery:

  • Partner with customers to identify AI/ML use cases and translate them into implementable solutions.
  • Drive PoCs, pilots, and integrations of ML/GenAI into existing business systems.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and AI specialists to design pipelines, training workflows, and deployment strategies.
  • Ensure governance, model monitoring, and explain ability in AI solutions for enterprise adoption.

Delivery & Project Management:

  • Act as Scrum Master lead sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and track delivery through Jira/Confluence.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and ensure on-time, high-quality project delivery.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for client stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and upskill developers in modern web stacks and AI/ML practices.
  • Promote DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
  • Build a culture of innovation and accountability.

Requirements:

  • 6-15 years of experience in software development & delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Angular (latest) and Spring Boot (Java).
  • Proven experience in application modernization projects.
  • Exposure to AI/ML solution delivery (implementation, integration, or prototyping).
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum with real-world project leadership.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Domain knowledge in logistics, shipping, or marine industry.
  • Certifications: CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile/PM credentials.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (esp. for AI workloads).
  • Knowledge of MLOps practices (model lifecycle, monitoring, drift detection).
  • Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks (Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs).
