Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Management
- Oversee the entire SCM function including procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
- Develop and implement effective SCM strategies aligned with business goals.
- Purchase Order (PO) Generation & Vendor Management
- Manage PO generation and ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
- Identify, evaluate, and register vendors while ensuring timely negotiations for the best commercial and contractual terms.
- Build strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply quality and service.
- Material Dispatch & Logistics
- Ensure smooth and timely material dispatches in line with customer requirements and project deadlines.
- Monitor logistics activities to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with E-way bills and challans.
- Material & Inventory Management
- Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Maintain and review stock reports regularly to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
- Implement best practices for warehouse and material management.
- Invoicing & Documentation
- Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing with accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
- MIS & Reporting
- Generate SCM-related MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
- Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to improve efficiency.
- Team Leadership & Process Improvement
- Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational objectives.
- Drive process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.
Key Requirements
- Qualification: B.Tech in Electricals or Electronics (Mandatory).
- Experience: Up to 20 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
- Strong expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing.
- Excellent understanding of E-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management.
- Proficiency in ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
