Job Brief:

We are seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and maintaining WordPress websites, along with a solid understanding of web development principles, UI/UX design, and customization. This role will involve collaborating with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure websites that meet client needs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and external services as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance, compatibility, and functionality problems.
  • Perform regular website updates, ensuring security patches and upgrades are applied promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, content creators, marketing, etc) to ensure seamless user experience and web functionality.
  • Ensure the websites are responsive, cross-browser compatible, and optimized for performance.
  • Work on front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.) and back-end development with PHP.
  • Perform SEO optimizations and implement best practices for website performance and search engine ranking.
  • Ensure website security and implement proper backup procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of more than three years as a WordPress Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development and customization.
  • Solid understanding of WordPress architecture, including template hierarchy and custom post types.
  • Familiarity with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or similar.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and web performance optimization.
