About Snapmint:

Snapmint is on a mission of democratizing no/low cost instalment purchases for next 200 Mn Indians. Of the 300 million credit eligible consumers in India, less than 30 Million actively use credit cards. Snapmint is reinventing credit for the next 200M consumers by providing them freedom to buy what they want and pay for them in instalments without a credit card. In a short period of time Snapmint has reached over a million consumers in 2200 cities and has powered over 200 crores worth of purchases.

Snapmint was started by a closely-knit team of passionate bankers and technocrats from IIT Bombay. We are looking for a candidate who can manage end to end large volume merchant payments and settlements for fast growing new age company.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain merchant agreements and ensure alignment between agreements and internal system at all times.
  • Assist in developing a scalable merchant settlement system by automating reconciliation process to handle 10x transactions
  • Proactively liaise with the merchant team and operations team to design and implement new features in the merchant dashboard.
  • Ensure adherence to tax regulations and the timely generation of invoices.
  • Lead the daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of all merchant payments, settlements, and transactions and conduct discrepancies resolution session with merchants
  • Continuously work on improving reconciliation processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Accounting, Merchant Support) and external partners (Banks, Payment Gateways, Merchants) for seamless reconciliation and payment processes.
  • Ensure all reconciliation processes comply with internal audit requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for merchants regarding payment and reconciliation issues, ensuring prompt communication and support
  • Manage and mentor a team responsible for executing reconciliation tasks.

Skills & Qualification :

  • CA with 5+ years in finance, reconciliation, or similar roles, with focus on merchant payments.
  • Must have min 2 +years experience of working with payment gateway or e-commerce company
  • Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes, payment gateways, and merchant settlements.
  • Experience in handling large accounts in new age companies
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy

Location: Mumbai (Nahur Central Line)

Working days: 5 days & alternate sat working
