Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with over 1 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Forms and Reports development. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL/PLSQL skills and a proven track record of working on enterprise modules involving account management, trading, demat, and billing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Oracle Forms (10g/11g/12c/19c) and Oracle Reports based on business requirements.
  • Write and debug complex PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and cursors.
  • Create and manage database objects such as tables, views, sequences, indexes, and synonyms.
  • Work on modules like Account Opening, Trade Processing, Billing, and Pledging within systems aligned with NSDL/CDSL processes.
  • Use Oracle utilities like UTL_FILE and CLIENT_TEXT_IO for file operations.
  • Perform SQL query optimization and basic performance tuning using views, indexing, and collections.
  • Participate in bug analysis and resolution in collaboration with the development and support teams.
  • Support user acceptance testing and resolve user-reported issues based on priority and deadlines.
  • Attend client meetings to resolve runtime queries and deliver enhancements based on change requests (CRs).
  • Prepare technical documentation and impact analysis for code and form/report changes.

  • Languages: SQL, PL/SQL
  • Database: Oracle 11g/12c/19c
  • Tools: Oracle Forms and Reports (10g, 11g, 12c, 19c), SQL*Plus
  • Utilities: UTL_FILE, CLIENT_TEXT_IO
  • Concepts: Cursors, Exception Handling, Joins, Analytical Functions, Bulk Collect, Collections
  • Operating Systems: Windows 7/10

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and debugging skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Good communication for handling client interactions and production issues
  • Active listener with a proactive approach to issue resolution

Education Qualification:

  • BE/Btech/BSc/BCA/MSc/MCA/Mtech (IT or related field)
