Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated Junior PL/SQL Developer with a strong foundation in database concepts and hands-on experience in PostgreSQL. The ideal candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing database functionalities, supporting application requirements in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and optimize database functions, triggers, and stored procedures.

- Participate in designing and modifying database schema and data models.

- Collaborate with senior developers on database-related tasks and solutions.

- Conduct unit testing to ensure database code accuracy and reliability.

- Work closely with application developers to integrate database functionality.

- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues efficiently.

- Document technical specifications, processes, and solutions.

Qualifications & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 35 years of experience in database development, particularly PostgreSQL and PL/SQL.

Skills & Competencies :

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- SQL and PL/SQL (Advanced)

- PostgreSQL (Expert)

- Database development and optimization (Advanced)

- Joins, constraints, and relational database design

- Debugging, logical thinking, and problem-solving

Additional Skills (Optional but Preferred) :

- Experience with MongoDB, NoSQL, or cloud-based database services

- Performance tuning and query optimization
