Position Overview:

The Executive Director – Projects is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and scaling all programmatic initiatives of the organization. This leadership role ensures that all projects align with the organization's mission, strategic objectives, and donor requirements, while delivering measurable social impact.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning & Program Development

• Design and develop project strategies and frameworks in line with organizational goals and donor priorities.
• Identify new project opportunities and partnerships for expansion and sustainability.
• Lead proposal development and grant writing for funding agencies, CSR, and institutional donors.

2. Project Implementation & Management

• Oversee the execution of all projects across multiple locations to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and budget compliance.
• Develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) systems to track project performance and impact.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, statutory norms, and donor guidelines.

3. Team Leadership & Capacity Building

• Lead, mentor, and build capacity of project teams, including Project Managers, Coordinators, and field staff.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within the projects team.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure professional development of the team.

4. Stakeholder Management

• Maintain strong relationships with donors, partners, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
• Represent the organization at high-level meetings, conferences, and external forums to strengthen visibility and partnerships.
• Engage with corporate partners for CSR collaborations and social impact projects.

5. Financial Oversight

• Prepare and manage annual project budgets, ensuring optimal resource utilization and financial discipline.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure timely financial reporting to donors and internal stakeholders.

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare regular progress reports, impact assessments, and presentations for management and funding agencies.
• Ensure timely submission of donor reports and compliance documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in program/project management within NGOs, social enterprises, or development organizations.
• Proven experience in strategy formulation, donor management, and large-scale project implementation.
• Strong understanding of CSR funding, government schemes, and development sector policies.
• Experience in M&E frameworks, impact measurement, and MIS tools is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹55, ₹75,000.00 per month
