3.Understand the market trends to be able to plan modem and technology features in the short and long term. In this aspect, follow regional market requirements and effectively help customer program/account managers to jointly bridge operator support with customer needs.
4.Analyze 3GPP features and operators’ device specifications, correlate with modem system/software requirements.
5.Acting as a tech lead on technical projects with clear process and outcome ownership. In this aspect, actively support Technology trials, field trials, Proof of Concepts, Demos and lab testing activities with regional carriers.
6.Support MediaTek’s Business Development strategy and activities with MediaRequirement1. 8+ year experience in wireless communication, device or chipset manufacture, mobile network vendors or mobile network operators.
2. Knowledge and experience in 3GPP protocols, with excellent understanding on wireless communication, for various radio access technologies, such as 5G NR & LTE. Shall have a good understanding of product mixes such as Smartphones/FWAs/IoT etc.
3. Strong presentation and communication skills: ability to present complex, technical ideas and results to multi-level, multi-disciplinary internal and external audiences.
4. Good communication skill with R&D and customer for problem solving and feature discussion, with hands-on experience in technical activities with operators.
5. Team player, work independently with minimum supervision.
6. Expected to have some testing background to support operator trials and issue debugging when leading specific projects.
7. Displaying deep technical knowledge; acquires advanced knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and advances in various engineering fields and know how to apply that in sharing the knowledge across teams working on similar products.
8. Exercising exceptional creativity to innovate new ideas and develop innovative products and processes without established objectives or known parameters.
9. Programming Skills are an addition in case needed to create tools helping in field testing.
10. Experience in customer facing role is a plus.
11. Familiarity with air interface performance analysis, characterization, and optimization
12. Willingness to travel for customer field/Lab support whenever needed.
