Rubrik Backup Architect

Job location: Noida/Chennai/Bangalore/Hyderabad

Job description:

Experience: 12+ Years of experience in handling large Backup Infra.

Primary Responsibilities:

- 10+ years of hands-on Data Protection Experience- Extensive Knowledge in Net Backup, Rubrik etc.- Managed over 6 PB of Backup Complex Infra .- Working experience with Rubrik Backup Technology, Rubrik CDM- Familiar with Other related Technologies- Veritas NetBackup, DDBoost, Data Domain, ECS, Veritas Appliance, DPA Reporting, Ops Center, IBM/HP Tape Library, and Azure Cloud Backup.- Familiar with ITIL Processes.- Overnight and weekend availability may be required as needed.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Expertise in Rubrik Cluster Data Protection- Hands on Experience in Rubrik Backup & Restore (VM, SQL Snappable, Oracle Snappable, Managed Volume, Live Mount, and NAS Backup)- Hands on Experience in Rubrik Polaris.- Troubleshoot Rubrik Backup Failures or performance related issues.- In Rubrik, should be able to create new SLA, File Set, Backup Schedule, Retention, Archiving to Cloud, Replication, Rubrik agent installation, Archival configuration, Network Throttling, Banner creation.- Should be able to work on Brik Expansion / Movement across Rubrik Clusters.- Knowledge and hands on experience on Windows and Linux environments.- Sound knowledge on Networking.- should have Rubrik Cluster upgrade knowledge (Through Polaris and CLI).- Should know how to add a new Node in Rubrik Cluster using command or, GUI.- Backup migration knowledge (installation/configuration).- have knowledge on Capacity planning/forecasting.- on PowerShell for Automation Part.- Able to handle and lead Critical Incident Calls from Backup & Recovery perspective.
