The Physics Department at The Neotia University is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory activities, assisting students and faculty in conducting experiments, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.


Min Criteria-

  • B.sc in Physics (Hons)
  • 3 Years of work experience in an undergraduate Physics lab or Engineering Lab
  • Basic knowledge of Ms. Excel


Responsibilities:

  • Assist faculty members in setting up and conducting laboratory experiments for undergraduate and graduate courses in physics.
  • Prepare materials, equipment, and specimens needed for experiments, ensuring they are properly calibrated and in working order.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to students and faculty during lab sessions, demonstrating proper experimental techniques and safety procedures.
  • Maintain inventory records of lab supplies and equipment, and coordinate the procurement of new materials as needed.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and university policies in all laboratory activities.
