Laboratory Technician

The Physics Department at The Neotia University is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory activities, assisting students and faculty in conducting experiments, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Min Criteria-B.sc in Physics (Hons)3 Years of work experience in an undergraduate Physics lab or Engineering LabBasic knowledge of Ms. Excel

Responsibilities:Assist faculty members in setting up and conducting laboratory experiments for undergraduate and graduate courses in physics.Prepare materials, equipment, and specimens needed for experiments, ensuring they are properly calibrated and in working order.Provide technical support and guidance to students and faculty during lab sessions, demonstrating proper experimental techniques and safety procedures.Maintain inventory records of lab supplies and equipment, and coordinate the procurement of new materials as needed.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the smooth functioning of laboratory equipment.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and university policies in all laboratory activities.
