Job Overview Spandana Hospital is seeking a dedicated Duty Doctor to join our team at our Bengaluru location. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of work experience in the medical field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional healthcare services. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in patient assessment techniques to gather comprehensive medical information effectively. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to document patient information accurately. (Mandatory skill) Strong clinical decision-making skills to evaluate and treat patients efficiently and effectively. (Mandatory skill) Expertise in emergency medicine to respond rapidly and competently to urgent medical situations. Basic life support (BLS) certification to provide essential pre-hospital care in life-threatening emergencies. Competence in acute care management to stabilize and treat patients with severe and urgent health issues. Exceptional communication skills to convey information clearly to patients, families, and the healthcare team. Ability to perform patient triage to prioritize treatment based on the severity of patients' conditions. Roles and Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient examinations and obtain detailed medical histories. Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement treatment plans. Manage and monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records systems. Provide emergency medical care and perform life-saving procedures when necessary. Communicate effectively with patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options. Participate in on-call responsibilities to provide continuous patient care. Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and adhere to healthcare regulations and protocols.
