Position: Airframe Design Engineer Location: Fort Worth TX 76118 Duration: 12 Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: OnSite Shift: 1st shift Job Description: Position Requirements:
  • Must have multiple levels of technical designexperience with at least 2 years of airframe design.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 V6 or 3DXis required.
  • Proficiency with general part sizing and familiaritywith GD&T is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint andOutlook is required
  • Must have excellent organizational interpersonal andcommunication skills (both verbal and written)
Position Responsibilities:
  • Create detail assembly and installationairframe 3D models 2D drawings and engineering bill of materials.
  • Review detailassembly and installation design definition to ensure compliancewith requirements.
  • Assignments will involve conceptual preliminary anddetail design under the supervision of a technical lead.
  • Assist inresearching pertinent data and developing solutions for the projector assignment.
  • Coordinate with other engineering manufacturing orspecialty personnel to resolve problems including execution toprogram schedule and cost requirements.
  • Advance the stateoftheart through creativethought personal and team research technical compliance and stronganalysis skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Planning ManufacturingProcurement and Maintenance processes is preferred
  • Experience working with productlifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA to drive productlifecycle is preferred.
