Job Description Lab Technician (High-Rise Residential Project)

Position: Lab Technician
Experience Required: 5 – 10 years
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Salary: 25,000 per month (approx. 3 LPA)
Facilities: Only salary provided (no accommodation, food, or other allowances)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lab Technician for a high-rise residential building project in Pune. The candidate will be responsible for conducting material testing, ensuring quality control, and maintaining accurate lab records to support construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and laboratory testing of construction materials (cement, concrete, aggregates, soil, bitumen, steel, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with IS codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Prepare and maintain test reports, logs, and documentation for project records.
  • Calibrate and maintain testing equipment as per requirements.
  • Support the site quality team in identifying and resolving material-related issues.
  • Liaise with project engineers and quality managers regarding test results and recommendations.
  • Maintain safety, cleanliness, and discipline within the laboratory.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Diploma/ITI in Civil Engineering, Material Testing, or relevant field.
  • Experience: 5–10 years in construction material testing, preferably in high-rise residential building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of IS codes and testing procedures for construction materials.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good record-keeping, communication, and reporting skills.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: 30,000 per month (3.6 LPA).
  • Facilities: Only salary provided. No accommodation, food allowance, or additional benefits will be offered by the company.
