Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Development :
Develop and implement the overall channel strategy to maximize market share and revenue from solar energy manufacturing clients.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the solar industry.
Collaborate with senior management to align channel strategy with organizational goals.
2. Channel Management :
Identify, recruit, and manage partnerships with key distributors and manufacturers within the solar energy sector.
Monitor and optimize channel performance, ensuring sales targets and KPIs are achieved.
3. Sales and Revenue Generation :
Drive sales initiatives within the channel to increase market penetration and customer acquisition.
Develop sales forecasts and budgets for the solar energy manufacturing channel, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure profitable business deals.
4. Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted marketing campaigns aimed at solar energy manufacturers.

5. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and industry influencers.
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to product delivery, quality, and service.

7. Reporting and Analytics:
Utilize CRM tools and sales management software to effectively manage leads, opportunities, and pipelines.
Prepare regular reports for senior management outlining channel performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills :
Experience: 15-20 years ; worked in min 3-4 companies and is part of a large operations presently
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred .
Prior experience in sales management, preferably in the steel or renewable energy sectors.
Strong understanding of the solar energy market and trends.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Team leader with the ability to motivate and drive a diverse team.
