Job Description Major Responsibilities Finance Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of service delivery by the O5 team in support of the company’s processes. This role must demonstrate a high degree of customer orientation to meet the needs of internal “customers / business partners”. Primary Role responsibilities include: Lead a team of financial executives toward achievement of preset goals. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including journal and ledger entries, payroll, taxation, accounts finalization and core accounting process. Approve third party payments through accurate reconciliation of financial records. Monitor and manage credit card payments and invoice payments. Act as the main point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to financial operations. Participate in recruitment activities as well as initiate the performance development training programs. Manage account payables and receivables activities. Supervise the daily operational tasks of the credit and collections team. Develop financial goals and objectives for the team. Conduct finance audit periodically and recommend improvements. Develop financial policies and procedures for operational efficiency. Develop and maintain financial statements for future reference. Assist Senior Managers in financial management and reporting activities. Ensure that financial operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set by the company. Develop operational initiatives to achieve financial goals. Monitor and manage expenses within the established budget. Competencies: Customer Service - Manages communications with external parties and communications with internal stake holders. Planning/Organizing - Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently. Work with a sense of urgency and be detail oriented, organized, and efficient. Individual must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be comfortable with high volume and conflicting priorities. Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings. Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. Critical Thinking - Show a desire to solve problems and willingness to develop solutions. Must be willing to ask questions and develop a strong understanding of the business. Professional Qualifications: Minimum 12 years of work experience in Finance domain. Strong proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Job Qualifications Educational Credentials: Degree - B. Com (Mandatory) or MBA Finance (preferred) Office Hours: This role will be expected to work a “North American” shift pattern, 4PM -1AM IST and should be flexible to support business requirement during outside of the shift timings.
