We are actively hiring Inventory Planning Manager at Renee Cosmetics :


Job Title: Inventory Planning Manager

Location: Ahmedabad

Department: Supply Chain Management


Key Responsibilities:


1. Inventory Planning and Forecasting:

- Collaborate with sales channels to gather inventory demand requirements and analyze sales forecasts.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive inventory planning process to align with production and sales forecasts.

- Ensure optimal inventory levels by creating and implementing effective demand planning and procurement strategies.


2. Procurement Coordination:

- Work with procurement teams to source finished goods and packaging materials based on production requirements.

- Monitor inventory levels and initiate purchase orders to ensure uninterrupted supply while minimizing excess stock.

- Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to maintain timely procurement schedules.


3. Production and Supply Planning:

- Derive production and supply plans from forecast data to support various sales channels and distribution demands.

- Coordinate with supply chain, NPD, and sales teams to align production schedules and ensure consistent availability of finished goods.

- Work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and manage reorder points.


4. Packaging Material Management:

- Track and monitor packaging material usage and requirements based on BOM and production plans.

- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure packaging materials are available to meet production timelines.

- Maintain detailed records of packaging inventory and ensure all materials are utilized efficiently, reducing waste and minimizing stockouts.


5. Supplier and Manufacturer Coordination:

- Establish strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers to enhance communication and improve lead times.

- Regularly review supplier performance, ensuring high standards for quality and reliability.

- Negotiate terms with vendors to optimize cost, quality, and delivery schedules.


6. Inventory Optimization and Reporting:

- Conduct regular inventory analysis to identify improvement opportunities and reduce carrying costs.

- Prepare and present regular reports on inventory performance, highlighting key metrics such as stock levels, order accuracy, and supplier performance.

- Implement best practices to improve inventory accuracy and reduce waste.


Key Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in inventory planning, demand planning, or a related supply chain role, preferably within the cosmetics or FMCG industry.

- Strong understanding of inventory management, procurement, and production planning processes.

- Proficient in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Excel.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
