The role exists to establish Olympus reputation as a effective participant to the government and other stakeholders in country’s healthcare ecosystem in advancing standards of care and access to healthcare in rare and underserved disease conditions. Incumbent needs to establish and cultivate relations with central and state policy-makers, key opinion leaders and other relevant stakeholders. Also leads and drives excellence in Patient Advocacy Initiatives by working closely with key stakeholders.

- Provides competitor and industry trends, insights & intelligence to internal functions.
- Implement Public Affairs initiatives to augment access efforts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, scope and lead patient advocacy projects which strengthen company Reputation and Trust with Society and the patient communities at large.
- Lead Public Affairs strategies in close alignment with Regulatory, Medical Affairs & Marketing to advance company’s business goals and strategic/business priorities.
- Facilitate and provide a platform to talk to government stakeholders and identify leverage points for providing/expanding market access of Organization's existing/expanding product portfolio.
- Actively engage with various Industry Chambers (FICCI/CII, MTAI) Trade Bodies, Committees, in order to build strong networks with government and statutory officials and assist in policy decisions that support Industry and organization.
- Work closely with Ministry of Health on various projects that may involve Public Private Partnerships (PPP) at center level to support the larger objectives of the organization.
Education Qualification:
- Advanced Degree in business, economics, public health, engineering, medicine or relevant experience in Govt Affairs in Healthcare domain / Health Economics Application
- Proven experience in
- Leading / Participating in development of protocol for health sector affairs and policies
- Identifying, generating, communicating evidence and value propositions to relevant stakeholders
- Management consulting / Advocacy of policies and programs
- Strong influencing & collaboration skills, ability to build strong network with both internal partners and identified external stakeholders
- Relevant Working experience with innovative Med Device / Pharma Cos or Central Govt. Healthcare Agencies or Management Consulting
- Academic Qualification from Premier institute
Experience Required :
- 5-8 years' total experience in Healthcare domain
