Senior Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement a comprehensive test strategy for Metapix's AI Super-app.

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with project goals and requirements.

- Define testing milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.

Test Automation :

- Lead efforts to automate testing processes, enhancing efficiency and coverage.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts.

- Ensure seamless integration of test automation into the CI/CD pipeline.

Team Leadership :

- Conduct rigorous testing of Metapix's AI Super-app, covering functional, regression, performance, and security testing.

- Identify and report defects, track their resolution, and verify fixes.

- Ensure the quality of releases and contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain clear and concise documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

- Generate detailed reports and metrics on testing progress and outcomes for stakeholders.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align testing efforts.

- Participate in design and code reviews to identify potential issues early in the development process.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.

- Proven experience in test automation using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, QA processes, and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
