Roles&Responsibilities SoftwareDevelopment Engineer in Test (SDET)Duties:
Develop and maintain softwaresystems
Test software to ensure it meetsspecifications
Develop documentation for the components interfaces and interfacesof softwaresystems
SoftwareDevelopment Engineer in Test (SDET)Responsibilities:
Createand review test plans test cases and test data; identify problemsperform root cause analysis and executesolutions
Developand review automated and manual testingscripts
Developand review functional and nonfunctionalspecifications
Developand review technical requirements documents (BRD PRDetc.)
Developmaintain and document a software testenvironment
Createand reviewreports
Participatein software developmentlifecycle
Promoteencourage and champion the use of automatedtesting
Performother duties asassigned
