Human Resources Director

Job Summary:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function within the organization. This includes strategic planning, policy development, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and regulatory compliance. The Director of HR serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, providing guidance and support to ensure the organization attracts, retains, and develops top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to executive leadership on HR-related matters.
- Lead initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
2. Policy Development and Compliance:
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements and industry standards related to employment practices.
3. Talent Acquisition and Management
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Implement talent management strategies to identify, develop, and retain key talent within the organization.
4. Employee Relations and Performance Management:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and resolution as needed.
- Manage performance evaluation processes and provide coaching and feedback to managers and employees.
- Implement disciplinary actions, as necessary, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
5. Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Facilitate leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
6. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Manage the annual performance review process and merit increase cycle.
7. Employee Engagement and Wellness:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote employee engagement and well-being.
- Coordinate employee recognition programs and events.
- Collaborate with other departments to foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Qualifications:
- Minimum experience of 15 years is required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, with a track record of strategic HR management.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
