Role Description

Build and optimize the XR application for smart glasses that captures IoT device data and overlays real-time sustainability insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop AR/MR app using
    Unity + OpenXR/AR Foundation

(cross-glasses compatibility).
- Implement object recognition & spatial mapping for industrial equipment.
- Integrate XR frontend with IoT APIs (REST/MQTT).
- Optimize rendering for performance on smart glasses (Xreal, HoloLens, Magic Leap, Meta).
- Collaborate with backend team to consume real-time IoT + sustainability insights.
- Support mobile/web integration testing for consistent experience.

Skills Required

  • 3+ years experience and Strong in
    Unity3D

(C# scripting, AR Foundation, XR Interaction Toolkit).
- Familiarity with
OpenXR

, MRTK (HoloLens), or Vuforia for industrial AR.
- Understanding of
IoT integration

(basic MQTT/REST API consumption).
- Knowledge of shaders, performance tuning, and UX for AR.
- Bonus: Experience with
Azure Digital Twins / AWS IoT TwinMaker

or industrial XR projects.
