Project Head – Solar EPC
Location: India
Experience Required: 15+ years, with at least 7 years in leading large-scale solar projects
Education: B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Energy Systems
Certified training in Project Management or Project Finance is highly desirable
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Provide vision and direction for all Solar EPC projects, ensuring they match the company's overall goals.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire project process from planning and design to procurement, construction, commissioning, and final handover.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, procurement experts, and contractors, ensuring coordination and efficiency.
- Design & Engineering Oversight: Review and guide the design stages, including technology choice, civil and mechanical structures, electrical systems, and power conditioning.
- Quality & Compliance: Set up quality control systems, conduct inspections, and ensure all projects follow technical standards and safety rules.
- Cost & Risk Management: Keep track of budgets, manage procurement efficiently, and create plans to handle risks.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain good relationships with clients, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams.
- Contract Management: Handle contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring they are followed and projects are completed on time.
- Retentive Maintenance: Ensure longterm system reliability through regular maintenance of electrical installations.
