Job Description :


Our client is an R&D Services company headquartered in USA. We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Java to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand software requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Develop and execute automated and manual test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.

- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing to identify and report software defects in a timely manner.

- Participate in code and design reviews to provide input on testability, reliability, and maintainability.

- Analyse test results to identify root causes of issues and propose corrective actions.

- Work closely with software developers to reproduce and debug defects in both development and production environments.

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and effectiveness in test execution.

- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and implement them in the QA process.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

- At least 3 - 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on Selenium automation using Java.

- Proficiency in working with Selenium WebDriver and Java programming language.

- Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Experience with other automated testing tools, such as JUnit or TestNG, is a plus.

- ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory.

Must have Skills :

- Overall experience (3yr+)

- Proficient experience in Test Automation development using any programming language (3+ years)

- Functional Testing (testing techniques, writing test cases, test case management, test strategy, test estimation, bug reporting)

- Problem-solving and analytical skills

- SQL(DML commands, basic keywords and clauses)

- Agile Methodologies
