Job Description:

We are seeking a Trade Finance Specialist to join our team and take charge

of various financial transactions related to inward and outward remittances,

currency hedging, and international trade operations. The ideal candidate will

possess a solid understanding of financial regulations, including FEMA

regulations, Foreign Assets Control list, and ECGC guidelines.


Responsibilities:

1. Remittance Management: Coordinate with our bank for both inward

and outward remittances, ensuring timely processing and compliance

with regulatory requirements.

2. Currency Hedging: Manage hedging activities for currencies such as

USD and Euro to mitigate currency risk and optimize financial

performance.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on FEMA regulations, Foreign

Assets Control list, and ECGC guidelines to ensure all transactions adhere

to legal requirements.

4. Letter of Credit (LC) Operations: Handle LC and Standby LC operations,

including scrutiny of issuance and amendments, document checking,

and processing bill payments.

5. Swift Management: Check swift messages received in the inward

tracker, ensuring accuracy and prompt action. Seek the best rates to

discount funds from current, CC, and EPC accounts.

6. Sanctions Screening: Conduct sanctions screening to ensure

compliance with international regulations and mitigate financial risk.

7. Trade Finance: Facilitate cross-border trading activities, including pre

and post shipment discounting, and ensure smooth transaction planning

for shipments.


Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

 Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance operations, preferably in a

similar role.

 Strong understanding of financial regulations, including FEMA, and trade

finance practices.

 Proficiency in handling LC operations, swift messages, and sanctions

screening.

 Excellent attention to detail and ability to scrutinize documents for

accuracy and compliance.

 Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

 Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

 Immediate availability to join the team would be preferred.
