Chartered Accountant (CA) - Statutory Audit and Tax Audit


We are a prestigious and well-established CA firm based in Ahmedabad, providing a wide range of financial and advisory services to our diverse clientele. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant with expertise in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit to join our dynamic team.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Statutory Audits:
  • Perform independent assessments of clients' financial statements and records to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
  • Review and analyze financial data, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify areas of risk, potential fraud, or non-compliance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Managing Tax Audits:
  • Handle tax audits for clients, ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Review and analyze clients' tax returns, supporting documents, and financial records.
  • Identify areas of tax exposure, potential errors, or omissions and provide guidance on corrective actions.

  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Provide timely and accurate advice on statutory and tax-related matters, helping clients make informed decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction.

  • Keeping Up-to-date with Regulations:
  • Stay abreast of the latest accounting standards, tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Continuously enhance professional knowledge and skills through training programs, certifications, and industry networking.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting Statutory Audits and Tax Audits.
  • Sound knowledge of auditing principles, accounting standards (Ind AS preferable), and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in using accounting and auditing software.
  • Proficient in conducting audits in SAP environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
